Our teams have been busy representing Herts at the 12 Counties tournaments in Corby.

The U16 teams played in January after their matches were rescheduled from December.  The boys had wins over Essex 3-1, Buckinghamshire 3-1 and Yorkshire 3-1 giving them an overall 1st place finish.  The girls lost 1-3 to Essex and 0-4 to Yorkshire but like the boys they had a 3-1 win over Buckinghamshire to finish in 3rd place. Well done teams! – George Carter, Louis Gibbard, David Latter, Oliver Tarvet; Rachel Cranley, Francesca Franchi, Emily Ineson, Anya Kotecha and coaches Jamie Fallis and Dan Nita.

In February our 18U teams were in action, the boys unfortunately losing 1-3 to Yorkshire and 0-4 to Essex but gaining a 3-1 win over Buckinghamshire finishing 4th in the group. The girls had a 3-1 win over Yorkshire, and a 1-3 loss to Essex but regained their winning streak by beating Buckinghamshire 4-0 to finish 2nd in their group.  Well done to both our teams and their coaches! – George Carter, Louis Gibbard, Zeke Kelly, David Latter; Mimi Bland, Rachel Cranley, Annabel Davis and Danielle Latter.

February also saw our U10 boys and girls teams playing. The boys had draws against both Yorkshire and Essex 2-2 a piece but a 4-0 win against Buckinghamshire meaning they finished 2nd in the table.  The girls remarkably had exactly the same results with draws against Yorkshire and Essex 2-2 and a win over Buckinghamshire of 4-0 also finishing 2nd in the table.  Well done teams and coaches! – Henry Best, Enrico Franchi, Harry Hume, Ben McLurg; Christina Feltham, Tamara Kuti, Dina Lipovski, Arabella Loftus.

On February 3rd our 9U team  had a great day at Corby, only narrowly losing to Cambridgeshire to finish 2nd at the Mini Orange Festival. Well done to captain Andre and team, we are very proud of you all.
