A successful weekend for Herts U18 players!

Both U18 teams had a great few days of play this weekend, the boys playing in Group 1 in Bath and the girls playing in Group 2a at home in Hertfordshire.

The boys made an excellent start on Friday beating Suffolk 7-2. On Saturday after some good play the boys unfortunately went down 4-5 to a very strong Surrey side.  On Sunday however things looked up and the boys finished victorious with a 5-1 win over West of Scotland!  Super effort boys!  Thank you to the team – Matt Carroll, Louis Gibbard, David Latter, Daniel Martin, Jake Penny, Joel Pierleoni, Josh Rose and James Wilkinson and to their coaches Jamie Evans and James Buswell.

Meanwhile the girls who were based at Gosling had a very successful weekend. On Friday they beat Warwickshire an impressive 8-1.  Another successful day on Saturday saw a 6-3 win over Buckinghamshire and on Sunday they rounded off their awesome weekend with a 6-3 win over Sussex making them group winners! The girls have been promoted and now join the boys in Group 1. Fabulous work girls, thank you to the team – Mimi Bland, Rachel Cranley, Annabel Davies, Francesca Franchi, Alex Hildreth, Danielle Latter, Arabella Moen and Indi Spink and to their coaches Sammie Williams and Ben Roberts Law.
