The Herts League

The Herts League is a competitive adult tennis league for clubs across the county. Matches are played home or away and consist of 6 players per team, forming 3 doubles pairs. Each pair plays 4 sets, promoting regular competitive play and strong club involvement.

The Harris Cup

The Harris Cup is Hertfordshire’s county-level knockout tennis competition held annually for adult teams. Named in honour of county stalwarts John and Val Harris it is a two-pair knockout format. Clubs enter teams of 2 doubles pairs with the winning club advancing to the next round.

The National & Youth League – Winter and Summer

The National League is an LTA adult team competition which runs at county level. It takes place in county, regional and national tiers with teams of 4 players competing in singles and doubles matches. There are summer and winter leagues.

The Youth League is an LTA junior team competition also running at county level for age groups from U8 to U18. Teams consist of 2 or 4 players playing 1 singles and 1 doubles match per tie. There are summer and winter leagues.


The Herts Ladies Seniors Doubles League (ENTRY OPEN)

This league is for Over 40s, 50s and 60’s in the winter. The summer season is an Over 70’s competition. Teams consist of 4 women who play 4 sets of doubles.

This league is for Over 45’s, 55’s, 65’s and 70’s and only runs in the Winter. Teams consist of 4 men who play 4 sets of doubles.
