Herts Tennis Annual Awards Dinner 2025

Our Annual Awards Dinner was held at Harpenden Golf Club on the 26th April. We were delighted to welcome the winners of the LTA County Awards and our Herts Tennis Awards and their guests to this special occasion. We were also honoured to have LTA President Sandi Proctor join us for the evening and present a number of the awards. The annual dinner is a chance to express our thanks to the clubs, players, coaches and volunteers who work so hard to make tennis happen in Hertfordshire.

After a lovely meal, the LTA County Awards were presented – the winners of these advance to nominations in the regional awards round and, if successful on to the national awards round. We also presented the Herts Tennis Awards which are specific county and team competition awards. Special mentions went to two of our Management Committee members who stepped down from the committee in March this year – Lee Evans who retired as President and Martin Corrie who retired as Treasurer. For many years both Lee and Martin have dedicated themselves to tennis within the county and their work has been outstanding. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.

Outstanding Achievement Awards were also presented to Charlie Broom, Martin Corrie, Ivan Rodriguez Deb and the Herts Ladies Team for their five consecutive wins at the Summer County Cup.
