Judy Murray brings the She Rallies initiative to Legends Tennis Centre

On the 24th of April Legends Tennis Centre was the venue for a She Rallies initiative led by Judy Murray.

She Rallies is an initiative designed to get more women and girls involved in tennis. Judy Murray has said: “There is still a significant gap in terms of players and coaches at all levels of the women’s game. This has to change. She Rallies will create opportunities in tennis for women and girls from the grassroots through to international level.”

Women who are involved in working with girls and young women are trained as ‘activators’ and learn how to deliver tennis sessions in a new and entertaining way.  Judy has chosen 26 tennis coaches who are known as ‘ambassadors’ to help her do this.  Judy and her ambassadors ran a very successful and enjoyable day at Legends bringing their enthusiasm and commitment to the women and girls attending.
