Herts 18U team at 12 Counties in Corby

The Herts 18U team of Daniel, Louis, Carl, James, Mimi, Amelia, Alex and Rosie together with captain Scott Paxton headed off to Corby on Saturday 7th January to compete for the 12 Counties Cup. They got off to a great start against Oxfordshire with all four girls winning their matches and the boys beating them 3-1. The next tie was against Nottinghamshire and following some tough matches the girls drew 2-2 and the boys won 3-1. The final tie was against Cambridgeshire who proved to be formidable opponents. The girls won their matches 3-1 and the boys lost 3-1 but in both groups Herts got 7 out of a possible 8 points matching Cambridgeshire. Well done to all players and thank you to Scott who debuted for Herts as a county captain.
