Hertfordshire 12U girls team at the County Cup finals

The Hertfordshire girls 12U County cup team were in Bolton for an exciting Finals weekend.  The girls had a busy time firstly meeting Middlesex on Friday but unfortunately losing after a close fought battle.

On Saturday morning they played South Wales and having evened the score at 2-2 went into a tie break shoot-out; the girls fought valiantly but ultimately were overcome by the other team. In the afternoon, they had a much more successful time with a win over Dorset.

Sunday saw them facing Kent for 5th place.  Having drawn 2 -2 our girls were victorious in a shoot out clinching the 5th place finish. Well done and thank you to Dascha, Jessica, Hannah, Ekua and team captain Ian Zellner
