Herts Ladies Over 35’s are County Cup Winners!

Barely a week after our glorious ladies team made history we have now seen our over 35’s ladies winning their county cup for the first time. 

The Over 35’s county cup consists of three days competition with singles and doubles matches.

The ladies headed to the glorious grass courts of Devonshire Park in Eastbourne on Friday to play in group 1 against Surrey, Warwickshire and Yorkshire. Friday saw the team take the first win of the weekend with a 3-2 victory over Surrey and they were off to a flying start. Saturday brought matches against Warwickshire with another 3-2 win lining up the girls for a final day against Yorkshire. The result a resounding 3-0 victory and the title.

Huge congratulations to Captain Kate Elliott and her amazing team of Kat Dearing, Amanda Elliott, Hope Johnson, Caroline Lacy and Sian Southwell Sander, a brilliant show of excellence and Herts ladies leading the way like true champions.
