Herts Tennis Annual Awards Dinner 2026

Carousel, News

We were delighted to hold our Annual Awards Dinner at Harpenden Golf Club on the 17th April. The annual dinner is a chance to express our thanks to the clubs, players, coaches and volunteers who work so hard to make tennis happen in Hertfordshire. It was a wonderful evening and we greatly enjoyed celebrating with our winners and their guests.

Guests enjoyed a lovely meal after which the awards were presented starting with the LTA County Awards. The winners of these advance to nominations in the regional awards round and, if successful on to the national awards round. This year Hertfordshire’s Sue Neville was a finalist in the Lifetime Achievement category and our Club of the Year – Bishops Stortford LTC and our Young Person of the Year – Ellie received LTA Excellence Awards. Pam Burrage who is part of the Hertfordshire Schools LTA received a Meritorious Service Award. You can read more about these winners here. After that presentations of county and team competition awards were made. All in all, it was a superb celebratory evening for everyone who attended.
