Herts team excel in the early morning at the Bright Ideas for Tennis 24 hour marathon

The team from Herts took part in the Bright Ideas for Tennis 24 hour tennis marathon on the weekend of 21/22 February and they all had an amazing experience.

From an early arrival at the National Tennis Centre Roehampton for a 4am start, the team were on court being put through a full warm up before splitting up and rotating around courts. This included experiences of VI tennis, wheelchair tennis, walking tennis and then also the chance to play some competitive sets vs Davis cup team members and ex world ranked Professional players. 4 hours later they finished off with a fastest serve competition!! So far they have raised over £1500 and all money will come back into the county to support inclusive tennis.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support this fantastic event and thank you to the organisers and hosts. Well done to our team of Phil, Darren, Fran, Devon, Dan, Andy, Calum and Isla who are already talking about participating next year!
