LTA President Martin Corrie welcomes the Duchess of Cambridge to the NTC.

LTA President and Herts Tennis treasurer Martin Corrie was on hand to welcome the Duchess of Cambridge to the National Tennis Centre this week.  The Duchess who is patron of the LTA met staff and took part in a Tennis for Kids coaching session with local schoolchildren and British no. 1 Johanna Konta.  She also participated in a wheelchair tennis training session with Paralympic silver medalist and three-time Grand Slam champion Alfie Hewitt.

Martin Corrie said “We are delighted to have welcomed Her Royal Highness to the National Tennis Centre today,(and) we are honoured to have her as our Patron and to be able to give an insight into the work the LTA is doing to get more people playing tennis more often.”
