2025 County Tennis and Padel Championships

We had another super week at the County Champs this year once again held at Rickmansworth Lawn Tennis Club. In spite of the weather being a bit mixed it was a week of excellent tennis and everyone enjoyed the tournament. Huge congratulations to all our winners and runners-up (see below) and a big thank you to all the players, parents and coaches who were part of the week.

The event couldn’t run without the help of the people who make it happen and we are immensely grateful to Rickmansworth Lawn Tennis Club for their wonderful hosting throughout the week. We are also enormously lucky to have such a great team of officials who make the event run so smoothly. Our huge thanks to referee Jamie Broomfield and his team of Maria, Angela, Salim, Sunita, Jeremy, Mel and Ainsley.

Rounding off the week, the padel County Championship finals were played at Broxbourne Sports Club. Spectators were treated to some excellent and fiercely contested matches and it was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and passion for padel. Our thanks to Broxbourne for hosting a fantastic day and congratulations and well done to all the winners and participants.
