International success for Herts men.

Herts county players Charlie Broom and Finn Bass have both had an impressive October with successful play in a number of international tournaments.  Both men played together when they were at Baylor University in the US and are also Herts County team mates.

Charlie played at the M25 Saint Augustin (Coaching Trial) in Canada and won the Singles title beating Aziz Dougaz of Tunisia 6-7, 6-4, 6-2.  He also went on to the Doubles Final partnered with fellow Brit Ben Jones where they were runners up narrowly beaten by Max Westphal (Fra) and Theodore Winegar (USA), the score for the match was 6-4, 3-6, 9-11.

Meanwhile Finn has done brilliantly at the M25 Glasgow (Coaching Trial) partnering Millen Hurrion in an all British final beating the pairing of George Houghton and Hamish Stewart 6-4, 6-7, 10-6.
