Volunteers make tennis happen throughout Britain – they give their time and energy to help more people play tennis and are vital to our game. There are a number of resources to support, recognise and reward volunteering in tennis https://www.lta.org.uk/workforce-venues/tennis-volunteer/

GET INVOLVED
There are many ways to get involved in Herts Tennis as a member of one of our sub committees and working groups
You may be a player, parent, coach or simply interested in getting involved!
Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator hertstennis@gmail.com if you have experience in any of these areas to include finance, welfare and inclusion or organising competitions whether this be in tennis, Padel or other sports.

CHAIR OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Herts Tennis is seeking a new Chair of the Management Committee of Herts Tennis. This is a senior and influential voluntary role, ideal for someone with a passion for tennis or padel who thrives on collaboration, governance and driving positive change. As Chair, you’ll lead the Committee in delivering and evolving the strategy of Herts Tennis to meet our mission to Open Tennis Up – making it relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for all. HONORARY SECRETARY
Herts Tennis is seeking to recruit an Honorary Secretary to the Management Committee of Herts Tennis. This is a senior and rewarding role and is an opportunity to work with the wider Committee in delivery and evolving the strategy of Herts Tennis to meet our mission to Open Tennis Up, making it relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for all. Awards
Each year, the LTA Tennis Awards highlight the incredible achievements and contributions of people across Britain. Nominations are sought from the public across all areas of tennis and winners are judged first at county level. County winners are then put forward for the Regional Awards, Finally the Regional winners are put forward to the National Awards.
